Our story

A Portland answer to a Portland problem.

"We answer our own phones - still."

We started Ridgeline in 2014 after watching too many local owners - a Pearl District restaurant, a Beaverton dental practice, a Swan Island fabrication shop - get stuck with the wrong loan or no loan at all. The big national brokers didn't understand the Portland economy. The big banks didn't return calls under $250K.

So we built a brokerage that does both: a deep lender network with the speed of a fintech, and a local team that actually knows the difference between an Oregon LLC and a Washington S-Corp, between a Hillsboro chip-design firm and a Gresham logistics yard.

Eleven years later we're still based on NE 19th Ave, still answering our own phones, and still funding businesses across the four-county PDX region - Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, and Clark County, WA.
